Privacy Policy

SkillSkope is operated by SkillSkope Labs Limited, a company registered in New Zealand (NZBN 9429053953254). This policy explains what information we process and the choices available to you.

Information we process

We process account identifiers and contact information, including your name, email address, account role and internal user ID. Depending on your role, we may also process club membership, approval status, date of birth, profile image, analysis titles, written coach feedback and whether a coach attached a voice memo.

Imported original videos remain on the user’s device. When a coach explicitly selects Share with athlete, SkillSkope uploads compressed delivery copies together with analysis drawings, markers, written notes and any attached voice memo. This private shared analysis is available only to authorised accounts through the club workflow.

How we use information

We use this information to provide account authentication, club membership, athlete profiles, coach-to-athlete feedback, security, support and account-deletion functions. We do not sell personal information, serve behavioural advertising or use personal information for cross-app tracking. Version 1 does not use coaching footage to train artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.

Service providers

SkillSkope uses Supabase for authentication, database and private media storage, and Resend to deliver operational club invitation emails. These providers process information on our behalf to operate the service.

Retention and deletion

Cloud information is retained while an account is active and as needed to operate and secure the service. You can request permanent account deletion in SkillSkope under Settings → Account → Delete account. You are signed out immediately and processing normally begins within 15 minutes. Associated cloud records and private media are removed as part of that process. Local media remains on the device until removed from the app or the app is deleted.

Age and athlete permissions

SkillSkope Version 1 requires every account holder and athlete profile to be aged 13 or older and is not directed to children under 13. Clubs, coaches and account holders are responsible for obtaining any permission required before recording or sharing an athlete’s footage, including parent or guardian permission where applicable.

Your choices

You may request access to or correction of your information, ask your club manager to update your membership, withdraw optional permissions, or request account deletion from within the app. You may also contact us with a privacy question.
